Run That Marathon was created by Eelco de Boer. This product features a 53 page eBook as well as audio and video bonuses. This eBook is written in a casual tone and the tips are useful and practical. English is not the author’s first language, so some portions of the eBook are difficult to understand. The audio and video bonuses are mostly a rehash of the material covered in the eBook, but it does allow a variety of formats to suite anyone’s preference.

I think this is a good resource for first time marathon runners. I learned some good tips about everything from avoiding injuries to how to avoid the marathon ‘poo.’
This 50-page book starts out strong, with a lot of great tips for getting started and motivating yourself to run a marathon, which I think is a large part of the process. It’s written in a friendly, more narrative tone, making it easier and more fun to read than its competitors. It also lists many ways to prevent common injuries and discomforts, which is a great thing to learn for first-time marathoners.
Overall, the book is a good option for a first-time marathon runner. It gives you the basics you’ll need to know during your training and race day, without going too in depth.
