First Marathon Training Guide is an inexpensive alternative to learning about marathon training. This 61 page eBook is sparse in design and at times difficult to read. There are no audio/visual products offered in conjunction with the book, either. First Marathon Training Guide has a heavy focus on nutrition and physical health and as such could almost be classified as a general fitness guide with a marathon component. While it won’t provide you all the information you need to prepare for a marathon, First Marathon Training Guide is an inexpensive guide to learning about marathon nutrition.

I thought this eBook was difficult to read and relatively useless. At under $10 it was cheap to be sure - but I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends.
I did learn a few recipes in the nutrition section so it wasn’t a total wash!
The First Marathon Training Guide gives a brief overview of the important things a first-time marathoner should know - but, it doesn’t go into a lot of detail on many subjects I feel are important. It’s also hard to follow, as the content jumps around a bit and it’s very text-heavy, without headings, graphical elements or photos.
