Marathon Method is a 77 page eBook that’s comprehensive, well-written and engaging. It begins with a helpful introduction to marathon registration and choosing a particular marathon to run. It also walks through every training week and provides helpful advice on getting through it. Marathon Method also has helpful tips sprinkled throughout the report that provide even more value. The author provides lots of examples and stories from his own marathon experience and even discusses how his family helped guide him through the journey. A reasonable price, a well written book and a great read - Marathon Method is an incredibly useful guide for the first time marathon runner.

Run That Marathon was created by Eelco de Boer. This product features a 53 page eBook as well as audio and video bonuses. This eBook is written in a casual tone and the tips are useful and practical. English is not the author’s first language, so some portions of the eBook are difficult to understand. The audio and video bonuses are mostly a rehash of the material covered in the eBook, but it does allow a variety of formats to suite anyone’s preference.

Run that Marathon also includes example marathon training plans to help you plan your training. Overall, Run That Marathon is a decent option for an aspiring marathon runner.

First Marathon Training Guide is an inexpensive alternative to learning about marathon training. This 61 page eBook is sparse in design and at times difficult to read. There are no audio/visual products offered in conjunction with the book, either. First Marathon Training Guide has a heavy focus on nutrition and physical health and as such could almost be classified as a general fitness guide with a marathon component. While it won’t provide you all the information you need to prepare for a marathon, First Marathon Training Guide is an inexpensive guide to learning about marathon nutrition.
